Invited by Prof. Kalyanam Shivkumar, Director UCLA Cardiac Arrhythmia Center and EP Programs, the team spend two days at UCLA, supporting the scientists with several EP cases for research purpose.
The use of a portable EP-TRACER sparked the interest of many experts in the institute, especially as the level of signal clarity and the ease-of-use paired with the ability to pace straight from the system was never seen in a comparable product in the US.
An immediate purchase decision was made for a portable system intended to be used for charity work.
Prof. Shivkumar refers to it as “the little engine that could …” (William E. Hickson) a firm belief which will motivate the parties to further investigate collaboration fields in science which will take the clinical field of cardiac EP to new levels.
