Hardware Developer (m/f/d) for medical devices

Tasks

  • Design and implementation of hardware and integrated electronics for biosignal acquisition.
  • Collaboration throughout the entire process of circuit design, simulation, layout, commissioning, and testing.
  • Documentation of your work in accordance with the requirements for international certifications.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of studies in electrical engineering, medical engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant professional experience in the development of medical systems and familiarity with working with relevant standards.
  • Experience in development within regulated environments, specifically implementation of the 60601 standards family.
  • Demonstrated experience in the mitigation and prevention of electromagnetic interference.
  • Strong technical understanding.
  • Excellent knowledge of analog and digital circuitry, as well as proficiency in a hardware description language for FPGA programming.
  • Proficient use of hardware development and simulation tools, ideally Altium Designer, as well as synthesis tools.
  • Ideally, relevant professional experience in the medical technology field, particularly vital signs monitoring.
  • Ability to work in an international team, coupled with independent, structured, and precise work habits.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, as well as good German skills.
