EMBEDDED FIRMWARE DEVELOPER (m/f/d)

For our Heilbronn site we are looking for an immediate recruitment of a

Embedded Firmware Developer (m/f/d)

Tasks 

  • Further development of existing embedded firmware in C/C++ and Assembler.
  • Development and support of complete product families through to series maturity.
  • Definition and preparation of product specifications.
  • Carrying out code reviews and error analyses.
  • Execution of system tests and support with the validation of development results, including accompanying documentation.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration within the project team.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Several years of professional experience in embedded systems, FPGA or firmware development for microcontrollers.
  • Sound command of the programming languages C/C++, VHDL and Assembler.
  • Basic knowledge of Ethernet, USB and fieldbus systems as well as of digital and analogue circuit technology.
  • Confident use of Quartus, Altium Designer, MATLAB/Simulink and FreeRTOS is desirable.
  • Knowledge of software life cycles in accordance with IEC 62304 is an advantage; ideally you hold a CPMS certificate.
  • Strong communication skills, a quick grasp of new topics and an independent way of working.
  • Team player with a genuine enthusiasm for firmware development.
  • Good spoken and written English and German language skills.
