Field Service Technician – Medical Devices (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Field Service Technician – Medical Devices (m/f/d). In this role, you will be responsible for the technical installation, maintenance, and servicing of our systems at customer sites. You will ensure the smooth operation of our products and serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries. In close collaboration with our Sales, Support, and Development teams, you will make a significant contribution to customer satisfaction and system availability.
A high level of willingness to travel and flexibility is essential for this position, as you will regularly support our customers on site. Through your commitment, you will ensure that our medical systems operate reliably and that our partners receive optimal technical support.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute system installations
  • Conduct testing, servicing, and troubleshooting
  • Offer clinical case support to end users
  • Document and track all relevant customer activities in the ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot product issues at customer sites and identify usability concerns
  • Relay customer feedback to appropriate departments within the company
  • Document complaints in accordance with QMS processes
  • Install software updates and perform necessary documentation and training as required by QMS

Your Profile

  • Completed technical training, e.g., as a medical technician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in technical field service or a service-oriented environment is an advantage
  • Solid knowledge of electronics, IT systems, and networking technology
  • Prior knowledge or experience in Cardiology & Electrophysiology is a plus
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
  • No travel restrictions: Flexibility to manage irregular travel schedules, including short-notice travel
  • Very good German and good English language skills
  • Strong service mindset and customer orientation
